My students are future engineers, scientists, artists, tech innovators, and doctors who are eager to change the world. We are a smaller elementary school in a Title I district, filled with students who are eager to take control of their learning and build a better future for themselves. 100% of our student body is receiving free lunches. We have a large population who will be first-generation college students. Our school has high expectations for each of our students! They are culturally diverse, many of them second language learners, who come together to learn. Most of our children live near or below the poverty line, but it never seems to dull their smiles. "Everyday is a new day to succeed". Whether it's in the classroom or day-to-day life, these students face challenges with more perseverance and determination than any adult I know.
