I have a classroom of twenty-two first graders. Seven nationalities are represented. All academic abilities are represented in our class. As a result, we learn extensively from one another. It may be academic and/or cultural. My students are bright, energetic, and curious. They have questions and I have answers and if I don't have them, I know where to find them. I challenge them and at times they challenge me. My students encourage one another and me by lending a hand, giving applause, saying words of wisdom, or just by smiling. My students deserve as many learning opportunities as I can give them. Please help me help them.
