I am teaching a bright and energetic class of 2nd grade learners. Many of the students in my class live in shelters, and most live in extreme poverty. My goal is to try to expose them to as much as possible in their learning experiences and create a safe, welcoming environment where everyone can learn and thrive. The 2nd graders in my class come from a high-needs, public education school located in an inner-city neighborhood in Southern California. Our school is dedicated to providing our community of students an enriching learning experience that prepares them for the future.
