Purche Ave. Elementary is a Title I school that is part of Los Angeles Unified School District. Our eager learners come from a largely African-American and Hispanic background and are deserving of the very best instructional resources available to meet their diverse needs. This is my first year teaching at Purche Ave. Elementary and my first time teaching a class of kindergarteners. I love the energy and enthusiasm of this age group. Every day is a new adventure! It is never easy, but it is endlessly rewarding. I am sure I will learn as much from them as they will learn from me.
