My second grade students are amazing. They enjoy learning and love hands-on activities. We are a Texas school and we are a Title 1 school. Since we are second grade, we usually do not get a whole lot of money to work with because the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes are the ones who take the standardized tests. Those of us in second grade, usually have to make do. Typically, I would make activities for the students, but now have limited copies and laminating. The materials I do make do not usually last long. These materials are more durable than what I make and will definitely be put to great use.
