My students are energetic, curious, and eager to learn despite the challenges they’ve already faced in their young lives. They are part of a 12:1 kindergarten classroom, where each child receives the attention and support they need to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Many of them are “pandemic young scholars,” beginning their school journey with limited early social experiences. Yet, they come to school every day ready to try, explore, and discover new things. What makes them special is their resilience, creativity, and ability to find joy in small successes. They inspire me daily to create a classroom that feels safe, inclusive, and filled with opportunities to thrive.

About my class
