Penrose Elementary is a Kindergarten -8th elementary school. The students I work with have often experienced psychological trauma and other hardships. As a therapist who previously worked in outpatient therapy sites, it has been difficult re-creating in school the kind of therapeutic, creative, and soothing environment that supports children in their healing. Therapy tools for children are not cheap and, unfortunately, our under-resourced public schools are generally not able to provide them. I would love your help in creating the therapy space and experience my students deserve!
