I currently teach in a 7-8 SDC classroom with 14 boys and girls. My students have various disabilities. Many of them struggle with reading and writing. They excel with doing art projects. I am hoping to raise money for art supplies and board games in my classroom. I would like to open my classroom at lunch to play board games when they are feeling overwhelmed on the playground at lunch. Throughout the year my students will be using their interactive notebooks to do projects in English and Science. I plan to do more hands on projects for my students with sensory issues.
