My students do a tremendous about of article reviews to relate to the concepts being taught. I would say we summarize articles at least 2-3 days out of the week. This rack allows for the students to have easy assess to periodicals that would be used in our classroom discussions. For example, if my Business Management students are working on their entrepreneurship project or their business plan, they can have information at their fingertips in class to help them see the "real world" of the concepts being taught. The rack is also in the room to encourage leisure reading. Whenever a student has completed the assigned task they have an option to go over to the "reading nook" and grab a magazine off the shelf.
