Building a solid foundation of early reading skills is SO important for setting students up for reading success! Our young students are asked to learn so many skills in the first few years of school, all of which are extremely important as they begin their life as readers. I work with small groups of students in grades k-2 who are having difficulty accessing foundational reading skills in the general classroom. I am asking you to help me to engage ALL young readers by providing them with materials that will foster their reading development, and their LOVE of learning. Please help me show my students that learning to read might be challenging, but it is also FUN!
