My 19 students are smart, creative and enthusiastic learners. They really work hard at school. School is a safe, steady haven for many of my students. They love school and love learning! They motivate me and inspire me everyday! More than 90% of my students are on our free and reduced lunch and breakfast program. They come from families who are struggling, but they have shown me that they have the ability to rise above their circumstances and/or situations. They deserve as many opportunities as possible to better their education, themselves and ultimately their lives. Having access to non fiction text and become stronger in their academic vocabulary and knowledge, will only build their confidence and they will become stronger, greater and more confident learners.
