I am fortunate to have a unique classroom demographic. Since our school is a magnet school, I have the opportunity to teach students from all over our city. Because of this, I have a very diverse classroom. I have a large achievement gap in my classroom. From students that are beginning to learn English to others that are proficient in more that one language. I also have students that are still learning how to read and others that are reading complex novels.
