What child does not like having someone read to them? My kindergarten students love to listen to stories! Unfortunately, with our busy day they often do not get the chance to listen to a story from an adult much less a CD player on an everyday basis. Listening to stories helps individuals become better readers and writers. Not only that, but listening to stories also helps improve vocabulary.
