February is Black History Month, and our school Library would like to celebrate the our African American Heritage by offering a way to educate our students and expand their knowledge about the accomplishments and contributions of Black people in American history, as well as reflect on the inequalities, injustices, and suppressions that have been done against them. We are looking to purchase books by some brilliant Black authors to read throughout the month of February and through the rest of the school year and for many years to come.
