All of our students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch. For many of them, this is the only time that they eat for the day. The students attending our Homework Center are spending extra time on campus to improve their academics and stay out of the trouble surrounding our neighborhoods. These snacks are both a treat for attending the homework center and also a way to feed their bellies as they feed their brains. It is difficult for the to concentrate during their tutoring and homework sessions if they are hungry. As educators, we have been doing our best to provide extra snacks for our students ourselves. We appreciate any help that you can give.
