In my classroom, we use the room to find places to read. Right now we can read at our desks, underneath our desks, or around the room using a few items I have purchased to help make them more comfortable while reading. We don’t have very many items so over half of my students don’t have anything. This causes them to feel anxious about getting to the comfy items first. With these items, I would be able to offer more comfortable places for students to read. We also have very few art supplies and my students love to do art! With more art supplies we would be able to do more art projects which will inspire them to be more artistic! A lot of my kids use art as a way to show their personalities in a positive way! With these items, I will be able to create a positive learning environment where they can express themselves through art.
