Today’s learning environment has become reliant on so much technology. It seems that students are surrounded by screens. While this has its benefits, children still need to be active! They need to engage in physical activity and free play while enjoying fresh air. The items I’ve asked for such as a variety balls and a parachute will help my students learn interpersonal skills, problem solving strategies, and keep them healthy and active. With any luck, they won’t even realize it! Third graders need to run, play, imagine, and create. This can be done inside and outside the classroom.
