I am asking for new books that will interest older kids such as my 3rd graders. By also adding STEM activities and math we can show them how important reading can be to things we see everyday. Getting new books in the classroom and tools to use with them helps us to increase the amount these kids read. It is important to keep introducing exciting and age appropriate books to kids who read at lower levels. They need interesting books that appeal to them even though they struggle. These tools also can integrate reading and math together using STEM activities which will interest my students.
