As an elementary mathematics teacher, I am always looking for engaging resources to utilize in my classroom to make learning fun and meaningful for my students. Due to the pandemic, it is important for teachers to not only teach the curriculum in an engaging way, but also help students develop social and emotional skills that they can utilize inside and outside of school. One way I can work to accomplish this goal is by providing students with ample opportunities to interact and learn from their peers. The resources that I am requesting would allow students to "play" with their classmates while practicing their mathematics skills! Mathematics games are a FANTASTIC way for students to learn. When students are engaged and interested they learn best!
