These items would be used within the classroom. That way the students could be taught how to properly use the materials. Fine motor skills are the ability to make movements using the small muscles in our hands and wrists. We rely on these skills to do key tasks in school, at work, and in everyday life. The activities planned in using the materials we be fun for the students in that they may not recognize the skills that they are developing. Kindergarten is meant to be fun and exciting while learning life long skills!
