This musical instrument will be beneficial for students Pre-K through 6th grade in that it will help them understand rhythm and beat. It will also be used for in school variety shows as well as helping to build their gross and fine motor skills that many kids are lacking since Covid-19 hit. It is my hope that my students will build up a few drumming and rhythm skills so that when they join middle school music, they will have a background in beat and rhythm to rely on. Our middle school has bucket drummers and it would really help them assimilate into the next levels of school music.
