My students are eager to learn of their culture and history. I had them tour a museum this past year a trunk full of different items from South America countries. They enjoyed every bit of it and shared their experience with their family. They learned of 21 different Spanish speaking countries. This gave them the opportunity though they share same language. We have different foods and other customs which differ. We had so much fun but we need funding with curriculum. Coming to this school and teaching has been a challenge. I have had to come up with my own material because the school has none for this department. I have had to buy my lesson activities and any other learning material. I would like to purchase a kit which will be more books, workbooks, and take them on small field trips too. Thank you in advance for anyone who has a heart for the minority community. The children are our future. Please invest
