These items will be used for learning at school. The knowledge that will accompany these activities will go home. I will use the mechanical science to teach some of our standards in a hands on way. I will use the STEM challenge kits and the Robot Clawer kit to teach problem solving, following directions and predicting and solving. How do you think it should go together for it to work? If it doesn't work, then now what? Can you explain to someone else how construct it? I will have students document all of this process on paper. This will go into literacy and writing skills. The manipulatives will be used to help see the multiplication, division, and fraction process.
