I currently run the TSP (Therapeutic Support Program) at The NHCS High School. My scholars often arrive at school hungry because they did not have food at home the night before and no breakfast in the morning. Being hungry makes for a rough start in their classes, and it also keeps them from focussing in class. Many times what my scholars eat here is their only meal. I am creating a safe place to eat and get their work done without worrying about not having food at home. We have been working together to make my room their zen place and believe that this will be a good start.

About my class
