It's no secret that we have all been affected by Covid-19. Between school closures, increasing absences due to illness and of course, budget cuts, it seems like as teachers and therapists we are playing a never ending game of "catch up". Many of my students struggle with social skills and being out of school so much the last few years has taken a toll on those already impaired skills. I requested multiple social skills activities to work on improving those skills. One of my students has severe apraxia of speech and the Grading Bite Blocks will be so helpful in strengthening said student's oral muscles and oral motor skills.
