Incorporating flexible seating will allow students to choose a seat that is best for their learning. By giving my students a choice, I am allowing them to make decisions to be more successful in the classroom. Research shows flexible seating can burn calories, use up excess energy, increase motivation and engagement, create a better oxygen flow to the brain, and improve core strength and overall posture. Giving students choice to move and release energy helps with student focus too. Your donation will help the learning environment of our classroom by giving my students more choice. Students will be able to choose from stools, the carpet, cushions, or even standing up. All of these options will give my students the opportunity to sit or stand comfortably and move around while they are learning. I cannot wait to see all the positive changes that flexible seating will give to my classroom. Thank you!
