The COVID pandemic continues to bring frequent absences to the classroom. Returning students need make-up work on the spot rather than retrieved later from a remote printer elsewhere in the building. The printer in our building does an excellent job of printing black-and-white pages at high volume. Color images can enhance student understanding of historical images, and a document scanner makes possible multimedia projects that facilitate different learning styles. The EcoTank printer selected above can do all these things. With the requested printer, returning students will be able to receive makeup lessons instantly, all students will be able to engage with color historical images more deeply, and engaging history projects will be enhanced by the ability to scan color images and post them on the Google Classroom site.
