The materials I have chosen will help my students to engage in their learning both independently in cooperatively. I have included a variety of materials for my students to practice not only cooperative skills, but also probably solving and creating thinking skills. Along with this, I have included materials to reinforce the cooperative learning environment I am working to create. Many of the materials will be used in the school setting, but other science and math resources I have added could be used virtually or while students are at home. My first grade students are the most invested in their learning when they can work with their peers and they can work with their hands. These materials would provide my students countless opportunities to take charge and pride of their learning.
