COVID has really changed the narrative of education. It has shed much-needed light on the disparities in our educational systems while compounding the already existing challenges of trauma manifestations and has stunted social-emotional learning. East Allegheny School District is a district with a predominance of food insecurity and other economical struggles for our families. These items will enhance the online learning that still takes place in our learning spaces. The microphones will definitely help to enhance the voices of my faculty so ALL students can hear the instruction clearly. The small book collection will provide a starter set in supporting our ongoing efforts to provide an environment where all students have representation and KNOW they are valued and included as vital members of our school community.
