I am interested in acquiring classroom materials to enhance the learning of vital signs in my Medical Detectives classes. During the last year, our classes have experienced both virtual learning and frequent individual student quarantines related to COVID-19, with reduced comprehension due to the distance nature. In my Medical Detectives classes, in-class attendance is important to relate human physiology and have hands-on practice doing vital signs. Because our program is a first-year startup, we have not had enough classroom materials to adequately educate the students. This grant will provide those materials that we need to enhance the students' learning of basic physiology and vital signs as they pursue their interests in medical careers.
