When you donate these materials, my students in 4th-7th grades, who are non-readers, will be provided with extra support to meet their individual needs. This will be an opportunity to provide them with the skills they need to become independent readers and thinkers. During small group intervention, students will practice sight word accuracy and fluency. They will engage in a print rich environment that will help them continue to build their reading foundational skills: knowledge of letters, sounds, and word. Students will build confidence and move from stuggling readers to readers.
