I am adding more modern and classic books to my classroom library to encourage reading for book reports and AP Literature and Composition. I am adding a classroom set of Raisin in the Sun to expand options for the drama genre in my curriculum with enough copies to check out to students in isolation at home. The pencils and markers are for students to express reactions to what they read artistically through drawing, writing poetry, and writing short stories. If they are isolated at home, they can upload pictures of their creations to the classroom management system.
