The class set of headphones will help my students focus and not distract others when my students are working with iPads in our classroom. The materials I am requesting will benefit my current and future students by using them during leveled small group centers. Leveled small group centers gives me the opportunity to reach my students on a more one-on-one level, and help them on their individual needs. While I am teaching one small group, other groups will be learning through hands-on materials, such as the quiz cards I am requesting, to increase retention and practice skills in a fun way! The math and reading quiz cards with the power pen will motivate my students to focus and try their best for the correct answer. I can also individualize the cards by group and student on the areas that need the most practice. I also use technology, such as iPads, during centers and daily learning. For a better experience using technology, my first graders need durable and high quality headphones. Having these headphones will decrease distraction and increase their focus to task.
