Music is a universal language. Music will allow students to use Math and create patterns and rhythms by learning on the snare drums. Music is a stress reliever for so many students. With the stress that Covid has brought to our students, the action of playing the drums is a physical and emotional release. Drums require self-discipline and listening skills. Perfecting these two skills will help students in every class setting. Music unites students by sharing the genres that each student likes with each other. It can show students that regardless of their differences, they can still have similar interests. Friendships can develop from common interests and broadening a students spectrum on diversity.
