The reading materials will provide my students with reading materials that they would not otherwise have access to in the low socioeconomic area that they live in. These reading materials will provide them an opportunity to read books they are of interest to them and will help them to recover from lost school time from the Covid-19 pandemic. The math manipulative will be very beneficial to my students as well. This will give my students a hands on approach to learning math skills such as fractions and place value. Many of my students are tactile learners and will benefit greatly having these new tools.
