The items I have chosen will be used for small group activities, whole group activities and centers. I find that when children use manipulatives they have a quicker and deeper understanding of what they are learning. Co-Vid quarantine has affected young children so much in their language and social development. They have not had the normal social experiences of the same aged children in the past. These items will be used to set up activities for the children to learn to work together, talk to each other, follow directions and practice math and literacy skills.
