I listed books for my classroom. I am a first year teacher and I am still collecting books for my students. I was able to gather different books for different months to introduce my students about the seasons and different activities that goes in every month. This will help expand their vocabulary since English is most of my student's second language. There are a lot of picture books so we can discuss and use ideas as to what may happen next. I also selected sensory items to help with motor skills. A lot of my students had a hard time holding a pencil and doing letter formation. These sensory toys can help strengthen their fine motor skills and use their ideas to become creative in what they are constructing. These items will help my students reach goals to succeed in life. Reading is fundamental and reading these books will help develop their vocabulary and language. The sensory I listed will be utilized to expand their imagination and develop fine motor skills. I also added some erasers to use as rewards for positive behavior.
