These items I have carefully selected already have a spot in my/our classroom. I will use these items to 3 different section in my classroom to help support all students! I will create a calm down corner, a behavioral section for students who work alone and in a quiet setting. Finally, I will create a small group setting for those that enjoy working in pairs and/or small groups. Providing a 'spot' for each student where they feel comfortable and loved is part of my philosophy. This gives them a space to express their thoughts, concerns, to be comfortable and to work. By donating to this project you will help creating 3 different settings in one classroom it will not easy but can be done! The desks will be used for paired work as well as small group work. The partitions will be used to create cool off corner as well as a separate section for students with extra behavioral needs. The saucer chairs will be used to create a comfortable and calm cool off corner. To create a classroom where students are given a place, a comfortable spot where they feel loved and supported is necessary to continue to reach all students academic as well as behavioral needs.
