This project will help our students develop how to use a variety of media with fully functional supplies. In our art room projects regularly integrate experimenting with our accumulated media to create visual effects that produce arts elements and principles. However, our art consumables are increasingly broken or incomplete pallets for student use. Fully functioning supplies are integral to intrigue student interest, because regardless of broken crayons coloring the allure is not the same. Oil pastels will be a great addition for students to deepen their tactile awareness of printmaking methods with a variety of media to complete their collaged compositions. The use of a variety of media is integral in becoming aware of their ability to demonstrate thoughtfulness and care to refine original artwork. Seeing their abilities come into fruition is why I teach.
