The current physics labs are done on a shoestring budget, with basic materials. The students that take physics are those self-identified collegebound whose interests run along the lines of STEM (engineering, scientist, etc.) and would benefit greatly from being able to do technology-based labs. Please help to give STEM experience to my students. The materials to be purchased in this request would be to purchase the Vernier probes in order to design an inquiry-based physics lab curriculum to make Physics even more engaging. Not only will they be learning the skills (on electronic devices and implementing their own lab designs) but they will learn best, as we all do, by doing!
