VR or Virtual Reality will allow my students to practice real life careers in the class room, better preparing my students for life after high school. With the Oculus, my students will be able to practice different careers, such as a mechanic or receptionist, allowing my students to have a better understanding of that career. My student's will be able to practice their chosen career, determine if it suits them, allowing the students to make a educated decision on what they would like to do after high school. VR will also allow my students to practice different real life skills, such as driving, cooking, folding laundry, thus making daily task more entertaining. The Oculus will allow my students to be better prepared for after high school. VR training is used in many industries today, training employees in safety, handling procedures or for out of the ordinary scenarios. I want my students to be successful in high school and after. The Oculus will allow my students to build confidence and independence, allowing them to be more successful after graduation.
