We have some highly motivated student musicians at Deer Creek. While we are able to provide them with quality instruments to use, they often have to purchase their own mouthpieces or use the stock mouthpieces that come with the instruments. Through this grant, we would be able to allow our most motivated students to play on a more professional brand of mouthpiece that will help them produce a more mature sound. This would contribute to their overall performance and provide them with the tools to secure positions in honor groups.

About my class
