The resources selected are specific to helping my students in the learning process. Some items are related to STEM (magnetic tiles, blocks blue prints, turn learn magnetic gears, eyedroppers, real bugs discovery kit and create a chain reaction stem kit) and fine motor skills (rollers, feed the animals fine motor skill, easy punch design, ink pads, magnetic alphabet and geostix) learning. My students are curious and excited to interact with their world. As we learn about STEM concepts, they want to have the opportunity to experiment and manipulate with these concepts and ideas. They learn best by allowing their hands and bodies to increase and expand their knowledge. Opportunities for social interaction and problem solving are essential skills and learning experiences in my classroom. Some of the resources chosen will help to provide that social learning (classic wild animals, ocean animals and precious ponies playset) space among my students. Many of them speak English as a second language. I believe the resources can help to provide a learning space for my ESL students to grow in their language skills with their peers.
