Basic materials needed in a classroom can get expensive. Having paper and pencils readily available in our classroom keeps our class running smoothly. Calculators are used every day in our class and we do not have enough for everyone. Minimal interruptions during class is very beneficial to my students, so if each student has their own calculator to use then they can stay focused on their assignment. Also, they would have the benefit of checking their calculator out for home use. We would greatly appreciate new calculators. We use them everyday in class and could not do our work without them.
