The Wobble Cushions also known as balance discs, will help us work on core stability, balance, and strength! All of these skills are tied to the vestibular system which will engage all the senses such as visual, auditory, tactile, as well as information from the proprioceptive system and its muscle and joints that helps your child maintain balance. Better balance and core stability will help your child improve their reading scores and fine motor skills such as drawing and writing. We are in need of these balance discs, because of the pandemic and the social distancing requirements in our classroom. This will allow each of our students to use their own disc and maintain social distancing.
