Our kindergarten class is located in a rural farming area. The opportunities are limited for our area and access to building materials that the children can use to manipulate, build, and create are scarce. The average kindergartner in our area will spend much of their time at school where they are given opportunities to grow their knowledge, grow their vocabulary, and grow their imaginations. In our class, the IO blocks will give the kids an added opportunity to engage with one another and use their imaginations to open up ideas they never thought possible.
