These new chapter books will allow my students to choose from a different genre that we currently don't have in our library. Providing different genres allow students to learn new vocabulary words and exposes them to different types of writing. Also, this provides them more options to read books of interest and independently. My students call our library the comfort zone. That is why I not only want to add new chapter books to our library but also more flexible seating options. This project will help enrich their experiences and adventures in Reading.
