The materials I chose for this project will assist in teaching students about the production of theatre. This will involve such things as designing and building a set for shows and building a small black box theatre in the classroom for students to put on smaller-scale performances. Stagecraft and the technical side of theatre are really where things start to get pricey, so the power tools, hardware, and things of the sort really help to cut some of those costs that we'll be running into soon. My main goal as their drama teacher is to ensure that everyone has equal access to theatre education.
