This project will help the pre-readers and emergent readers to acquire the skills, to move as fast as possible to reading grade-level literature. The flex-space seat will be used in our reading/individual lesson's station, as flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make great choices. The trays will be used for individual work and follow-up projects. Preparation of the environment is key to a Montessori classroom. I purchased the Alphabet sounds Teaching tubs earlier this year and the storage rack is needed to display the material for aesthetic and portability. Paper cutter will be used for the different book projects, cutting practice, and measurement. Headphones to block out other noises and continue to work without any distractions.
