These materials will help launch Mess Mondays in our Kindergarten program. Our goal is to make sure our students are engaged in hands-on, purposeful play. While engaged in this play, they will be building and growing imperative social skills. They will learn how to solve problems and develop independence. They will strengthen their risk assessment skills and ability to compromise. Collaboration and building community will lead to well-being in light of Covid-19. When children build with blocks and play in the sand they not only build vocabulary and STEM skills, they learn how to be part of a healthy social and emotional community.

About my class
